Elderberries-high in antioxidants, antiviral, and has immune-inhancing properties that can aid in coughs, colds, the flu and other respiratory illnesses.
Echinacea- when taken at the first sign of illness, echinacea can help rid body of illness before it gets the chance to “settle in” due to its polysaccharides which help protect against cell invasion from bacteria and viruses. Great for sore throat, oral infections, and brachial/respiratory infections.
Cinnamon- adds natural warmth and potent anti-inflammatory properties that support immune health.
Rosehips- rich in vitamin C, enhancing immune support and adding a natural tangy flavor.
Thyme- adds antimicrobial properties and supports respiratory health.
Ginger- gives a anti-inflammatory boost to the elderberry syrup, enhancing its natural immune-supporting properties.

When making your elderberry syrup, make sure you dont multitask. Keep an eye on your syrup!
The elderberry syrup can take about 30-45 minutes to simmer down to half.
Dont pour boiling hotsyrup into the mason jar. It could crack the jar. Let cool 10-15 minutes before pouring into the jar.
Get the kids involved!
-Have them pour the dry mix into the pot and add the water.
-Let them pour the honey into the jar and stir.
-Let them put the label on the jar and place it into the fridge.
Use a Sharpie marker on the label to date your elderberry syrup. *Labels are not pen/pencil friendly.
