This garlic and dill salmon is ready in less than 30 minutes, making it a quick and easy family meal. Pair it with your favorite sides like rice, salad, sweet potatoes or even fresh fruit.
Ingredients
4 salmon fillets (fresh or frozen)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
2 tablespoons fresh dill or 1 tablespoon dried dill
3 tablespoons olive oil or avocado oil or melted butter
1 tablespoon salt
Instructions
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Prepare the Fillets: If using frozen salmon, ensure the fillets are fully thawed and patted dry. Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
Mix the Seasoning: In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, salt and dill.
Coat the Salmon: Spread the seasoning mixture evenly over the salmon fillets, ensuring they are well coated.
Add Butter: Cut the butter into small pieces and place them on top of each salmon fillet. This will add richness and flavor as the salmon bakes.
Bake the Salmon: Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Serve: Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Serve it hot, garnished with additional fresh dill if desired. Pair with roasted vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad for a delightful meal.
