Dye-Free Raspberry Lemonade Recipe – Perfect for Kids!

Looking for a refreshing, natural drink that’s free from artificial dyes and preservatives? Our dye-free raspberry lemonade is a delicious and wholesome treat that's perfect for kids (and adults too!). Made with simple, all-natural ingredients, this lemonade is bursting with real raspberry and lemon flavor without any added colors or chemicals.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups water

  • 3 packets Bigelow Red Raspberry tea

  • 2 lemons, juiced

  • 1/2 cup sugar (or to taste)

Instructions

  1. Brew the tea: Bring 3 cups of water to a boil. Pour over the 3 packets of Bigelow Red Raspberry tea and let steep for about 5 minutes until the tea is strong and flavorful. Remove tea bags and allow the tea to cool to room temperature for about an hour or two.

  2. Juice the lemons: While the tea is steeping, juice* the 2 lemons. Make sure to strain out any seeds. *Tip: Cut the lemons in half and in a flat baking dish or plate press the lemon down firmly, squeezing out as much juice as possible. Do this a few times to each lemon half and continue with the other halves. This technique incorporates the lemon peel oil that creates a truly delicious lemon flavor!

  3. Mix and sweeten: In a pitcher, combine the cooled raspberry tea, fresh lemon juice, and 1/2 cup of sugar. Stir well until the sugar dissolves completely. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.

  4. Chill and serve: Refrigerate the lemonade for at least 1 hour until cold. Serve over ice, and garnish with lemon slices or fresh raspberries if desired.

Why Kids Will Love It

This raspberry lemonade is naturally colorful and flavorful thanks to the real red raspberry tea. It’s sweet but not overly sugary since you control the sugar content, making it a healthier alternative to store-bought sugary drinks. Plus, it’s dye-free—the perfect way to enjoy a fun, tasty beverage without artificial additives. Perfect for kids parties, picnics, backyard BBQs, and more!
